Rochester Hills, MI – Rochester College is pleased to announce the addition of Miles Levtov to the Warrior’s defense.

Miles Levtov comes to RC from Madoc, Ontario and has spent the past two seasons with the Niagara Predators of the Greater Metro Junior Hockey League (GMHL), coached by Robert Turnbull. Levtov has appeared in a total of 66 career games with the Predators, including four playoff games. As a gifted offensive defenseman, Miles posted a total of 66 points (20 goals, 46 assists) during his two seasons with the Predators. While being known for his offensive abilities, Levtov has proven to be tough to play against and doesn’t shy away from being physical, earning 119 penalty minutes over the course of the 2016-2017 season. In addition to playing, Miles serves as a coach for the PowerSkating Academy, a Toronto based skating school.

Miles’ comments on becoming a Warrior: “During my visit to the school, I was pleasantly surprised with the of the school and close-knit community. A small school offers a great opportunity to learn in a smaller class setting. I'm excited about bonding with the team. From my time during my visit, it was evident of how close of a group they are and I look forward to being a part of that. I think I'll be able to bring strong offensive ability to the team that will match with their veteran defenceman. With the use of my skating skill, I'll be able to adjust to the playing style of the team. My expectations for the coming season, are based on personal growth. Off the ice, the better I can focus on keeping my schooling on track, the less of a distraction I will be to the team. On the ice, I hope to adjust quickly to the speed and size difference. The better I can adjust, the more beneficial I will be to the team. I look forward to fitting into the team environment, and working towards our mutual goals throughout the year. .”

Coach Cagnet’s comments on Levtov: “I am really glad that Miles has decided to exercise his passion for hockey at Rochester College for the next four years. He is an exceptional offensive defenseman who is committed to developing all aspects of his game. He will be one of the best skating defenseman in our conference from day one and will add to our offensive attack immediately. Miles spent the entire weekend of our prospect camp with us and got to know the boys pretty well and I know they are all very excited that Miles will be a teammate this coming season. He is a really good, humble person who has a strong desire to work hard to get better and I can’t wait to see what the next four years at RC has in store for him.”

Coach Turnbull’s (Niagara Predators) comments on Miles: “Miles is the type of player that every coach wants on his team. He’s a team player that makes everyone around him better. He will do whatever is asked of him to help his team win. He’s an excellent skater with a professional shot that’s willing to engage the opposition. He’s a player you can depend on!”
