Predators are extremely happy to announce the signing of Swedish forward Jesper Eriksson

Jesper comes to us well scouted and motivated to get the season started.
Jesper has played juniors on the highest level possible in Europe.

Jesper played two tournaments with the Sweden selects team. Among the other players he played with you can find current NHL players like Philip Broberg Edmonton Oilers, Victor Soderstrom Arizona Coyotes and Tobias Bjornfot LA Kings among other names. Season 16/17 Jesper took a spot playing for his home town Stockholm in the prestige filled "Tv-pucken" again playing with other high level prospects for both the NHL as well as SHL.

Season 17/18 Jesper landed a spot on 'Hockey gymnasiet" with one of Swedens top teams Brynas IF. Jesper made his major junior debut later that season.
Season 18/19 and 19/20 Jesper took a spot from the start in Superelit (Swedish major junior) playing over 40 games in total. He again got to play together with current NHL player Victor Soderstrom.

20/21 season Jesper spent with Vallentuna putting up 2 points/game in J20Elit and thereafter taking a roster spot with Vallentunas profesional team playing in Hockeyettan

Predators General manager had this to say:
We are very happy to add a player like Jesper in to an already strong roster. We believe with Jespers size and style of play he will help us greatly striving to make a deep playoff run. Jesper is a big power forward with 6*3 and 194 pounds and we believe he will benefit playing on smaller rinks then what he is used to in Sweden. Not only does he have great experience playing hockey on the highest possible level but he is also a leader that will benefit us both on and off the ice and a future fan favorite
We expect big things from Jesper this coming season
